Specialized G.AL® C210 DYNAMIC is an advanced form of G.AL® C210R, made from alloy EN AW-5083 (AlMg4.5Mn0.7). Special casting specifications, specialized post-processing, and our proprietary heat treatment produce the outstanding features of our medium-strength aluminum plate G.AL® C210 DYNAMIC. Sawn on all sides, low stress, isotropic, and free of microporosity.
Applications
Vacuums
Diffusion resistance and low outgassing under thermal influences makes G.AL® C210 DYNAMIC the perfect choice for all vacuums. The density (helium leak test) was tested up to a vacuum 10-11.
Pneumatics
Diffusion resistance also plays a crucial role in pneumatics. Usually, rolled plates are used because conventional cast plates can have microporosity. Even so, rolled plates 2.25″ or more are prone to micro porosity as well. The absence of microscopic pores makes G.AL® C210 DYNAMIC a great choice.
Medical Equipment
Pressure-loaded or media-carrying components must be made from reliable materials. Microporosity can cause premature wear and leaks in equipment. Non-porous G.AL® C210 DYNAMIC is the first choice for use in medical equipment because it conforms with EN 602-2004.
Optics and Lasers
Microporosity can be detrimental, causing unexpected outgassing when manufacturing optic or laser parts. G.AL® C210 DYNAMIC can prevent outgassing because of the compact and firmly embedded silicon content. The dimensional stability of G.AL® C210 DYNAMIC allows for degrees of machining greater than 95%.
